Extensive information boards with rest areas

There is an abandoned hut here. In front of the hut there is a memorial stone, behind it there is an outhouse.

Nice rest area (even when it rains) with many information boards.

Unfortunately, the Hermannseck excursion point has seen better days.

One can only hope that the country will put money into its hands and do some reconstruction work here, but given the current problems in the world, that's just wishful thinking...

Unfortunately, most of the former animal enclosures fell victim to the catastrophic state of forest dieback in the Ziegelroda forest. Only a few remnants exist, all in all in a very sad condition.

Easily accessible hut next to the bike path. Highly recommended for bad weather - rather unsuitable for an overnight stay.
