One of the best bathing lakes in the beautiful local recreation area outside the city of Rosenheim. Directly outside the gates of Rosenheim, to the south, lies a beautiful local recreation area consisting of several lakes. The Happinger-Au-See is mainly used as a bathing lake for the local population. It offers several entry points with a pebble beach and a small nudist area. Although everything is available here, from a kiosk (until 5 p.m. if the weather is nice) to toilets, changing rooms, a lawn for sunbathing and an e-bike charging station, bathing is only possible to a limited extent. There's a lot of groats floating in the pond.

Here you can take a great break while cycling and hop in the small lake. In the summer, however, it is overcrowded.
