The Nasse Wolkenbruch is a rather large sinkhole that is quite impressive.

I wondered why there are goldfish there? The pond is very natural.

It's simply impressive how mighty this stump alone is. I would have loved to have seen this oak tree in its living glory. It must have been gigantic. The fragments on the ground are also enormous and give an idea of what a large plant it once was.

Nice pond. There is currently a fallen tree lying half in the pond. This looks very quaint and fairytale-like. You can walk completely around the pond and the paths around it are mostly natural. A dream in autumn, like everywhere in the deciduous forest.

It's worth climbing the small path all the way down to the water.

Beautiful estate directly on the H1

The Sieberhausen estate was built by Georg von der Malsburg. The place is already mentioned in 1322 as a family estate. In 1751 the family died out in the male line, so that the owners changed. Today the estate is owned by the Russell family. The estate itself is private and may not be entered. The road through the estate may be used and, depending on the direction of travel, is also used by the Fulda-Diemel-Weg and the Fairy-tale Land Trail. If you hike in a southerly direction, you will also be guided around the estate on these hiking trails.
