Beautiful wooden observation tower with a view of the other shore. Next door, it looks like there are several parking spaces.

At the "Alte Jeetzel" there's not only a bench for a break, but also a shelter. This is perfectly suitable for bikepackers and cycle tourists, but also as a short-term shelter when it starts to rain.

On this observation tower you can see the area and the climb is worth it

“Node 4” is located on the Elbe dike near Wootz, at the former Wootz-Gorleben ferry terminal. There is a small shelter on the dike and there is a very beautiful and relatively large sandy beach on the banks of the Elbe (except when there is high tide).

At reasonable intervals there is always a hut to take a break.

The refuge in the "Beluga triangle" between the salt dome and the Gorleben interim storage facility is named after Undine von Blottnitz (died March 3, 2001), one of the founders of the rural emergency community and later member of the European Parliament.
