It is a great place to take a short break at Lake Gartower.

The "Schweinekuhle" in Groß Gusborn. A biotope for many animal and plant species. In early summer you can listen to the frogs at their concert and enjoy their "music" free of charge. Have fun and use the space for a little break.

Lake Gartower is the largest lake in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district. A beautifully situated lake with many recreational opportunities (hiking, cycling, photography, sailing, canoeing, swimming, etc.). There are hiking and cycling trails around the lake. Lake Gartower also offers great motifs for nature and landscape photographers, including many species of birds.

Nice place to relax even if you don't go swimming. For me, as a hobby photographer, there are many beautiful photo motifs at Gartower See.

In our opinion, more beautiful than the Arendsee. You can see a lot more of the lake and there was more to do around it.
