Camp Tilgenkrug Address: Buchenweg, 23568 Lübeck-Israelsdorf Our non-profit organization took over the camp from the Waldjugend in 2016. Since then, we have carried out various renovation work with the help of our numerous partners. Even though not all of the work has been completed, we have been able to breathe new life into the fort with a lot of effort and sweat. The camp is primarily intended to be used by Lübeck school classes as a new event venue as part of our experiential educational day programs. During the holidays, the forest hut benefits families by looking after their children. The first activities were successfully carried out last year

The castle complex is located on the Langen Hörn. The hill is surrounded on three sides by the Schwartau, so the castle never had any great fortifications. Not much is known, but it was probably owned by the bishop, who administered the diocese from Old Lübeck. The castle complex is several hundred meters long and can be walked along its entire length. The ramparts that separated the castle sections from each other are still clearly visible.

Memorial site for buried at the Brodtner Steilufer. The stone comes from southern Sweden. Baltic Sea Memorial Travemünde for all survivors of those buried in the sea as a point of contact to remember - at any time.

Currently (06/2021) the Fairtrade snack bar is open from Wed-Sun from 11:00. Regional offer of small delicacies, e.g. venison sausage, pack ice from Kiel, homemade cakes. Man sits on the bench in the enchanting garden and enjoys. Splendid.

The parking lot at the ferry house is chargeable and secured with a barrier. Daily fee is 8.00 euros, parking tokens are available in the ferry house. Tip: After the bike tour, have a drink in the ferry house and then receive the parking coin for free.
