The quarry lakes are located in a beautiful forest area. Wonderful paths lead around them. You can also swim in the quarry lakes in summer. Spacious meadows invite you to have a picnic (but clear away the rubbish).

At the main entrance where the tourist information is located, there are sanitary facilities that are cleaned regularly. Opposite there is also a small café with various drinks at certain times.

Nice little bungalows are located at the marina.

The beach slopes gently, but there is also a jetty available for getting into the water. During the bathing season, a kiosk offers refreshments and toilets are also available. The entire lake is fenced and accessible from the car park.

A tip for beer 🍺 A small, family-run, committed and cozy brewery in Lünne. With an attached restaurant, it is an experience, the tour was very informative and you could try all the types of beer that are made there! The location is very dignified and cozy. Guests can also try curling or crossbow shooting, for example. The service was extremely friendly and attentive.

Water-skiing

North of Steinbild, the Ems Cycle Path runs to the left of the Ems. Here we find this holiday park with living on the water and a marina. But also a café and restaurant with a terrace. All in all, a great location for a leisurely break on the Ems.
