It was unexpected to see this structure in the middle of a straight desert road. It's a convenient spot to take a break on a hot day and watch the birds. Thank you for creating such places.

Protected from wind and traffic on a cycle path alongside the road. The latter had to be raised due to the so-called renaturation, i.e. it was built twice.

A real highlight to rest and for a longer break. Rainproof and the bike can also be stored.

The path leads directly to the water and from the viewing station you have a beautiful view of the mouth of the Peene. A very nice place that offers shelter in less warm weather and/or rain and is always open.

Always good for a little snack

With around 20,000 hectares, the Peene river valley is one of the largest contiguous fen areas in Central and Western Europe. Here you can observe waterfowl up close.

Here it smells of sea and wood, of smoke and fish. If you are looking for original maritime island history and the flair of the fishing milieu with the enticing scent of fresh fish, you have come to the right place in the "Koserower Salzhütte". The monument-protected ensemble offers the visitor a cozy and natural ambience in which he can enjoy freshly smoked fish every day on beech wood, as well as all other local types of fish, whether fried or boiled.
