About 400 m east of the Drachenberg summit lies Königslutter in the unincorporated area at about 305 m above sea level. NHN the Drachenberg transmitter. Its main transmission tower is a 181 m high, guyed tubular steel mast. It is used to distribute radio programs on FM and DAB.
