Unfortunately, the view has since become overgrown and the bench has been removed. Nevertheless, it is a lovely spot and a welcome place for a short breather after the climb.

Mountain peak on the Calenberger Trail, unfortunately without a view.

Visibility is not as good as it used to be, because trees are known to grow upwards. Nevertheless, a rest after climbing the mountain is a recommended measure.

The view may be possible in winter. You can't see anything from here in July. However, if you continue along the ridge path in a southeasterly direction, there are a few places where you can see the Salzgitteraner Land through the trees.
