The Fugletarn observation hut is located in the Rickelsbüller Koog and offers a wonderful view of the Rickelsbüller Koogsee. It is located in the middle of the feeder road and is accessible from the German side. The square also has historical significance. The Danish-German border ran here between 1864 and 1920. The place is built on a dike hut (Digehytten), which served as accommodation for the workers in the dike construction project from 1923 onwards.
