Reaching the southern tip of Peetzigsee is quite a challenge! There's even access to the lake here, but the view isn't as breathtaking as you might have hoped. Swimming is hardly possible here, or at least not enjoyable, because the bottom is soft and muddy.

The rest hut marks a spot where you can easily access Peetzigsee, right at its southern tip. - Warning: Anyone who wants to continue from here, to circumnavigate the lake clockwise, must be prepared for a very narrow, terribly overgrown, and poorly maintained path, and for an unreasonably long stretch! - It's absolutely not suitable for cyclists, and not exactly ideal for hikers either! You can push your bike sometimes, but even that's very difficult here.

Quite unexpected to find an intact and usable shelter here. You can take a nice break almost anywhere in the Uckermark, for example on the embankments and on the edge of the many hills, and of course also at one of the many lakes.

It's a good and inexpensive place to stay overnight here.

Cool camping spot, the good soul of the place Conny, she has her heart in the right place. Overnight stays in huts of various sizes but also overnight stays in a tent or camper are possible. There is also a surfing school here. I have now been a guest at the square twice as part of the Prenzlauer Hügelmarathon. It wasn't the last time.
