First built in 1912 and revived in the 1980s. A hut book is available in the hut.

The rest hut is located on the peninsula between Hohenjesarschem and Schloss-See, where the former castle park was also located. A few meters away at the "Alten Damm" there are very nice views of the two lakes.

The place is legendary, and the legend that was thought to be dead has been resurrected: the former Waldhaus Rosengarten is alive!     It is surprising to find a restaurant in the middle of Frankfurt's city forest - where you wouldn't necessarily expect it.   It is inviting, open daily, and quaint - just right for this place, a little enchanted, very cozy - just the right thing for hikers, joggers and cyclists, for those hungry for nature, tired of the city, for those seeking peace and quiet and adventure, for families, for children and pensioners, for clubs who like to party, and, and, and... just give it a try!   Opening hours daily 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
