You can relax close to nature at the bathing lake, which is idyllically embedded in the pine and mixed forests. Accessed by a circular lake trail, the Grünewalder Lauch attracts with textile and nudist beaches, a separate dog beach, bathing bays and playgrounds. The Sorgenteich, which gives the name and area of the FFH areas “Sorgenteich” and “Sorgenteich addition”, belongs to the catchment area of the Schwarzen Elster and the Ruhlander Schwarzwasser. The area is of outstanding importance for the occurrence of Atlantic wet heather and pioneer plant communities, which occur on the open and sandy wet soils of the pond area.
