These include, among others, ash-leaved maple (Acer negundo), Norway maple (Acer platanoides), sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus), white horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), red horse chestnut (Aesculus × carnea), black alder (Alnus glutinosa), Norway birch (Betula pendula), hornbeam (Carpinus betulus), common hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna), common beech (Fagus sylvatica), staghorn oak (Gymnocladus dioicus), European larch (Larix decidua), Persian ironwood (Parrotia persica), Swiss pine, Swiss stone pine (Pinus cembra), pyramidal poplar (Populus nigra ‘Italica’), sweet cherry, wild cherry (Prunus avium), scarlet oak (Quercus coccinea), English oak (Quercus robur), red oak (Quercus rubra), black locust, false acacia (Robinia pseudoacacia), bald cypress (Taxodium distichum), small-leaved linden (Tilia cordata), large-leaved linden (Tilia platyphyllos), Crimean linden (Tilia × euchlora), wych elm (Ulmus glabra) and field elm (Ulmus minor).

Around Lake Senftenberg there are always cozy bathing bays, away from the public beaches.

Very good cycle paths everywhere along the water.

Beautiful castle park with small bridges and benches. It's just a shame that almost everything has been vandalized.

There is a beautiful sandy beach on the South Sea beach, both textile and nudist. Clean beach with the option of retreating from the sun in the adjacent forest. Toilets (very clean) on the cycle path. The South Sea snack bar offers a good selection of food and drinks with good value for money. The snack bar is open daily from 10 a.m. There is a good place to park your bike.
