Located near Suckow, this idyllic, secluded bathing bay is a real insider tip for cyclists. The spot not only offers direct access to the lake, but also a covered rest area with sturdy wooden benches and a table, perfect for a relaxing break with a wonderful view of the water. In the golden evening sun, the spot appears particularly inviting and peaceful. Those out cycling will find a quiet place to breathe, enjoy the scenery, and maybe even take a dip in the cool water. A great location, a photo opportunity.

A narrow, natural singletrack trail runs along the southern shore of Lake Plau, making it ideal for sporty cyclists and mountain bikers. The path leads through dense forests, past small coves, and directly along the water. Rooty sections, tight bends, and occasionally sandy, sometimes muddy sections make the trail varied and, in places, quite challenging. Views of the shimmering lake open up again and again, accompanied by the peaceful rustling of the trees – an intense nature experience on two wheels. 😉👌 The journey is the destination!

The bathing area in Bad Stuer is idyllically located on the southern shore of Lake Plau and offers a peaceful, natural setting with clean water and well-maintained shoreline. The terrain is gently undulating and offers both sunny and shady spots for relaxation. A bike ride to Bad Stuer is particularly recommended from Plau am See. The route leads through parts of the Nossentiner-Schwinzer Heide Nature Park and offers many opportunities for breaks in the countryside along the way. In Bad Stuer itself, it's worth stopping to visit the old villas or take a short detour to the castle ruins to relax on the lakeshore.

I'm always amazed by all the tours I've taken around the lake. I did the last circuit on my gravel bike. It was relatively easy because it hasn't rained in ages. However, I should have fitted tires with a bit more tread. I think there's something for all gravel riders. If you don't like sandy terrain, you can ride more on the bike paths, but I prefer the path right by the water with its lots of tree roots and some large stones.
