Nice hut that has saved my wet bottom several times. It is always clean and you can always take a break here and let your gaze wander over the Elbe foreland.

You never know when you'll need a roof over your head. Whether you're riding in the rain or the sun, a shelter helps you take a short break. Anything is better than standing under a tree and "balancing" in your rain gear. Helpful.

The calm Havel will soon flow into the stormy Elbe - a magical place where it is worth lingering before continuing on the Elbe cycle path. There is a special atmosphere here when dusk falls and the refuge is the ideal place to spend the night between the rivers.

Pretty guesthouse - very remote - very quiet. Great to reach by MTB (also for kids).
