You can get a view of the lake if you look out to the left of the road - coming from Schollene - after a simple bench next to an information board (well before Ferchels), there is an inconspicuous, almost overgrown short footpath that leads steeply up a hill. There you will find a bench and a table with a wonderful view of the lake. An ideal place to take a break.

Rest area with swimming area. I can't say whether swimming is allowed there. There are no prohibition signs there.

There are wonderfully beautiful spots here on the lake where you can swim, fish or simply go on a bike tour. Nature also invites you to go hiking or walking.

grandiose route with small-scale agriculture, an exception here

Scenic, varied route on roads with very little traffic. Good asphalt, partly good concrete double lane and 2 x 100 m Paris-Roubaix feeling (cobblestones) in Ferchels. Good alternative route in strong winds to the direct connection Schollene-Neuwartensleben.
