It's best to walk anti-clockwise, then you have four to six possible entrances, all of which come out at the hut and you can basically choose the difficulty, although everything requires at least C to be fun. Of course not too high here, but a lot of trusses.

The Ernst Hartwig via ferrata in the Thuringian Forest offers a fascinating challenge for climbing enthusiasts. Each route has its own character and offers different challenges suitable for both beginners and advanced climbers. The special highlight of the Ernst Hartwig via ferrata is the summit cross with a climbing book and Tibetan prayer flags. This special touch gives the climbing experience an additional dimension and makes the summit an unforgettable moment. The via ferrata is not only a challenge for experienced climbers, but also offers beginners a great opportunity to test and improve their skills. The facility is very well maintained and has recently been expanded to include numerous new variants, making it an attractive destination for climbing fans. The small hut near the via ferrata offers a nice opportunity to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. The combination of the challenge of climbing and the opportunity to relax in nature makes the Ernst Hartwig via ferrata a worthwhile destination.
