A real highlight for mountain bikers in the Franconian Forest. Due to the low gradient, the trail can also be ridden uphill without any problems. The time required for the almost 10km total route should not be underestimated because of the sections that are prepared in places by forestry machines and the frequent crossings of the stream over sometimes dilapidated bridges with steps. During my hike through the Teufelsgraben, I was fascinated by the idyllic and almost mystical atmosphere that surrounds this place. The path led me along a narrow path that seemed to have been lovingly crafted by hand. With its many small bridges that lead picturesquely over the ditch and alternately switch to one side or the other of the path, the Teufelsgraben offered a charming and varied hiking experience. The wild beauty of this piece of forest, with its old, charming bridges and the rippling of the water, creates an atmosphere that is both calming and inspiring. The opportunity to go in search of fire salamanders adds an additional fascination to the place and makes it a perfect destination for nature watchers.
