The rose hut was built by the Schmitzhausen rose association and is located in an idyllic spot below Schmitzhausen. There is also a hiking car park here 🅿️ . A good starting point for many beautiful hikes. At the moment (April 2024) it is also open again.

The PWV hut managed by the Thaleischweiler-Fröschen local association is located directly on the Steinenschlossweg, which at six kilometers is a pleasant short tour to the nearby ruins of the Steinenschloss. The hut can serve as a starting and ending point, so that after the hike on the circular route you can stop for a bite to eat.
