A beautiful and idyllic fountain on the Teufelspfad, not far from the Teufelsfels. I have never seen this fountain without water.

The Teufelsbrunnen is located in the nature reserve Gersbachtal above the Teufelsfelsen natural monument. The well itself is a former natural spring that was tapped in the 1930s. The fountain consists of a semi-circular sandstone wall and a small fountain trough in front. In the middle of the sandstone wall, above the well trough, the name of the well - Devil's Well - is embedded in red sandstone.

Since you can really push someone into the abyss everywhere in the rocky country, I also suspect that this small gorge with the really beautiful rocks on the right and left was either used to ambush or to throw down. - Who knows the real story?
