The walk around the pond is really worth it. Almost half of it is designated as a bathing lake. We had nice weather at the end of October, but it was too cold for swimming.

Our cozy fisherman's hut is located in the middle of the Nonnenmattweiher nature reserve. The cozy guest room and the outdoor area of the idyllically located hut invite you to linger. Family and company celebrations or other occasions We will be happy to organize it for you - reservation required (seats: inside 30, outside 30). We use products from our own production: Meat and sausage products, fish (is smoked by the chef himself) and schnapps from our Heubronn farm. You can get warm dishes, soups and salads, hearty farmer's snacks and drinks from us.

From the Weiherfelsen you have a wonderful view of the Nonnenmattweiher. 🤩 It's worth stopping by here. Depending on the hiking direction, mine has a steep climb or steep descent.

With a length of around 325 meters and a width of 200 meters, the Nonnenmattweiher is not particularly large, but it is really beautiful to look at. Here you can swim in peace and at the same time enjoy the Black Forest in all its glory, unfortunately it is quite crowded on the weekends, but during the week it is a little paradise.
