The former Deichkind restaurant closed at the end of 2022. Since February 2023, the new restaurant "Hamdans" has occupied the same location. It is under new management and offers fresh oriental cuisine with European influences – mostly organic. The cozy terrace overlooking the Weser River remains a highlight, inviting cyclists and walkers to relax or take a short break. The food is delicious and highly recommended. A worthwhile stop for anyone who wants to combine enjoyment with nature.

Between Morsum and Inschede there is a great rest hut with an information board for various cycle paths in the region. The Weser is in the immediate vicinity. Pure nature. Very nice. With trash can!

The Deichkind is my first-class recommendation for delicious Arabic cuisine and nice drinks and very good value for money, which generally leaves more and more to be desired.
