Great opportunity for a short break with a beautiful view

According to Komoot, there are two other paths that lead to this wonderful spot, but that's not the case. They're all undergrowth and thorny. Accessible only via the nearby gravel path. Very idyllic, by the way.

According to information from the Federal Office of Cartography in Leipzig, there is no official center. It's a question of calculation. Depending on whether different geographical focal points are taken into account, a different result is achieved. Krebeck is the correctly calculated center of Germany when taking the islands into account. This point was calculated by the German Geodetic Research Institute in Munich.

I wouldn't go through the ford on my racing bike either, but I've often crossed the bridge. The few meters of gravel are no problem.

A very nice quiet place, well-kept area. And the water is drinkable. The Lausebrunnen is at the end of a gravel forest path with a turntable. It then only continues on narrow paths through the young reforested forest.
