Weißfichtensee If you are looking for a little cooling off on hot summer days, away from the hustle and bustle of the outdoor pools, Weißfichtensee is the right place for you. Created by the Haßberge Nature Park, the facility on the edge of the forest has been in existence since the early 1970s. Around the small bathing lake there are small seating areas and lawns that invite you to rest and relax. The local recreation area also includes a natural stream, a spring stone with a pool, two shelters, a willow tunnel and a fireplace. But there is also a lot on offer for children in addition to bathing fun. In the immediate vicinity of the lake there is a playground with a seesaw and swings, a circular walkway and a cable car. You can reach Weißfichtensee from Ebern via the state road towards Haßfurt. In Gemünd turn left towards Welkendorf. At the exit of Welkendorf then turn left again and after about 1 km you will have arrived at the facility.
