The Dreisbach is a tributary of the Ahr River, approximately 10 km long. It rises near the North Rhine-Westphalian towns of Rohr and Lammersdorf and flows into the Ahr near Fuchshofen. There are several fish ponds along the river.

Lake Hoffeld, a former basalt quarry on the Burgkopf hill above Hoffeld, is not open to the public. It is used by the Hoffeld 1990 e.V. fishing club and is fenced off on all sides.

Former basalt quarry I've even been swimming there before. If you're nearby, it's definitely worth a visit.

In the Dreisbachtal, right next to the community of Ohlenhard, you will find the pond complex with an adjacent barbecue hut. You can also camp here in the summer!

The village pond is located in the center of the small Eifel village of Pitscheid, on the corner of Kapellenstrasse and Weiherstrasse. A nice sight that the hiker can also enjoy at a seating area for a short rest.

Nice fishing pond, but only visible to strangers from the outside. The restaurant is currently temporarily closed.
