“Slave Lake”, which was artificially created in the 70s. Here, building rubble was deposited at the Kehlgraben, so that the river could no longer flow away. The Sambachweiher are mentioned for the first time in statistics from the local pastor Dr. Karl Gottlob Rehlen in 1843. But they are probably much older. In a feudal letter in 1426, Ulrich Haller received the dwelling (castle) in Kalkreut, seven estates, meadows and two ponds from the Nuremberg burgrave.
