The Münchshofener Berg is not overwhelmingly high at around 550m, but it is very present in its surroundings. It rises above the Naab Valley and can be seen from afar - from the lookout tower in Regenstauf to the Fischbacher Weiher pond far to the north. Also because it is still farmed almost up to the summit, it is also easy to recognize in contrast to the wooded elevations in the area. The fields there are still built according to ancient rules - hedges between the field strips lying across the slope. So it is good for nature and actually also for humans. Those who like to pick up a radio will find plenty of opportunities to have a radio conversation in addition to the wonderful view!
