욀링겐‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪20‬개의 호수

Lake Grimme is one of the numerous karst springs on the northern edge of the Donauried (Danube River Ried). Rainwater quickly seeps into widely branching crevices and fissures on the karstified Alb plateau and flows underground through caves, tubes, and crevices in the limestone of the White Jura (Malm) towards the Danube. The water level remains almost constant at around 50 cm, even during prolonged droughts and heavy rainfall. The water temperature remains at 10-11 degrees Celsius year-round, with slight fluctuations.

Large, spacious city park with two playgrounds for children of all ages. Various seating options by the large pond and on the walking paths invite you to take a break. Directly adjacent to the park is the Butze with a mini golf course, toilets and places to eat and drink.

In the northwest of Langenau, right next to the Langenau Nature Friends House, the Warme Ach (also called Nau here) springs up. The spring is in a former quarry and comes largely from the Lone. A bench and the Nature Friends House next door invite you to linger. There are toilets, drinks and a large playground for children.

Great place to relax, unfortunately there are a few benches to sit on.

Super beautifully designed lookout tower for observing the bird life on the lake

You can observe the feathered variety from the bird observation tower at Mooswaldsee. Information boards help to identify the birds. You can also experience the impressive spectacle when hundreds of greylag geese fly over the observation tower on the Mooswaldsee on rustling wings to spend the night.
