The Treibsee lake is quietly hidden in the middle of the Welzheim Forest. It resembles a small, enchanted lake, almost mystical depending on the weather. The hut isn't far, but it's located in the blazing sun. A bench in the shade with a view of the lake is just what you need.

There was a fire pit and some wood in the hut itself. Perhaps just by chance... Still, thank you very much for the invitation and for getting it 😉 Trash cans are also available.

It's a forest restaurant with definitely interesting opening hours: "Closed Fridays 2 p.m. to 5 p.m." Since I was there during that exact time frame, I can say: Yes, it's true. It was too... Otherwise, I can't say anything about the place...
