Beautiful child-friendly bathing area with a raised sandy beach, which is monitored by the DLRG on weekends and during school holidays. The beach was created through voluntary work by members of the Hammestrandinitiative e.V. to give Worpswede families and visitors access to the Hamme at Worpswede's former bathing bay. The Hamberger Moor is the wild and romantic part of the Teufelsmoor. Here you may encounter a shy adder or beautiful butterflies on lonely moor lakes.
