The district boundaries of Schönborn and Hahnstätten meet on the Ergenstein. There used to be a lookout point here, but it is now overgrown. The Hahnstätter Heimat- und Verschönerungsverein has erected a shelter at this spot. Immediately next to the hut, a path leads to the boundary stone, which is about 150 meters away. The Ergenstein is a 419.7 m above sea level. NHN high elevation in the German low mountain range Taunus. It is located near Schönborn in the Rhein-Lahn district of Rhineland-Palatinate

The Mensfelder Kopf near Mensfelden in the Hessian district of Limburg-Weilburg is an approximately 314 meter high elevation on the edge of the Kirberg hill country at the transition to the Limburg Basin. When the visibility is good, you have a view of almost 50 landscapes from up here! Due to its nature reserve, the Mensfelder Kopf offers a wonderful home to many animals and plants! Although the circuit around the head is not particularly long, it is still worth a visit! From here you can continue hiking in the Limburg Basin or simply enjoy nature on one of the numerous benches.
