Barbecues are available every Saturday and Sunday until November 1st. The chef is always coming up with something new. In addition to the famous cheese currywurst, there's Steak a la Carlos or the Günter Sachs menu, and for those without meat, there's the "blogged cheese" option. In addition to the usual drinks, homemade elderberry and herb syrup awaits in the fridge, and if you're lucky, a homemade cheesecake, apple cake, or plum cake. Take a break during the week is also welcome. Especially now during the holidays, Kellers HofRAST offers those staying at home a short excursion into nature. Anyone who wants to play pinochle (again) can find other players there on Wednesdays or Thursdays.

It's a beautiful spot. You can sit in the lovingly furnished hut or in front of it. Inside, you can serve yourself fresh cakes, coffee or cold drinks. You pay what it's worth to you - so you're happy to give a little more 👍😃. And the farm cats keep you company while the roosters crow. Wonderful.

The hut offers shelter. There is also a nice picnic table at the crossroads. This makes it a great place to take a break - no matter what the weather. If you are on the wooden path (the upper one), then you are in the right place.

A nice rest stop with lots of information about fauna and flora. Well done. The badger is very impressive. The refuge is maintained by the Unterhof local history association.

Lake is private but it's also so nice to drive by the lake.

I saw the apple stand - unfortunately the watch chickens put me off ;-) - otherwise I might have seen the rest hut as well. I would have loved coffee and cake!
