The Rohrsee nature reserve in Rehbach is located in the town of Michelstadt in the Odenwald district in southern Hesse. The area extends northwest of the core town of Michelstadt and southwest of Rehbach, a district of Michelstadt. The B 47 runs north of the area and the Rehbach, a left tributary of the Mümling, flows through the area.

In 1979, the recreation facility "Annelsbacher Tal" was built in a scenic location in the west of Annelsbach, which has been open to all visitors since 1980. In the lower part on the southern side there is a football field, while on the northern side there is a wide range of play equipment for the children. Annelsbach Lake View over the Annelsbacher See, in the background you can see the Annelsbacher refuge. In the upper, western part, the romantic lake invites you to linger, which was created when the facility was built. It is fed by a stream that flows down from the Rappengrund and on the valley side from the former supply line of the old waterworks. The Annelsbacher refuge is also located here, which the traffic and beautification association likes to use for club activities. Benches are distributed throughout the facility, and in the playground area there are benches with tables that provide the opportunity for a picnic in the green. A beautiful facility with lots of space and a small pond.

The 3 large slags at the table location come from a blast furnace that used to be in operation at the lake. Today, together with the lake, they make for a beautiful photo motif.
