Different paths accompany this tour. What I like most is the route through the Krebsbachtal (narrow path surrounded by trees).

The Michelbach flows through the wonderful Michelbach valley to dammed fish ponds. The fish ponds are fenced and reserved for anglers only. On the right side a narrow natural path leads past rock formations with a view of the ponds from above. The left way back is unspectacular car access to the fishing ponds and later forest road. The Michelbach lies in the middle of a wide floodplain.

Beautiful hike in the forest on a smaller path, extremely good in the currently hot weather! Naumburg Castle is closed, apart from the entrance portal there is nothing nice to see either, the fishing pond on the route is nice, but the real highlight is simply the Krebsbachtal.
