The cave park extends over the Dragon Cave over about 2 hectares. Before the cave was discovered, there was a limestone quarry here. Over the years, this quarry has been transformed into a beautiful park. Here you can relax wonderfully and unwind under shady trees. The alum plant in Mühlwand is no longer on the Mylau corridor, but is an important monument of industrial culture. Alum slate was mined here from 1691 and processed into alum salt on site. If you want to hike a little off, always walk towards the tunnel of the train (if you come from Plauen). Shortly before the tunnel you turn left and you don't hike the usual path along the Elster. Shortly after the railway tunnel is a small cave on the right .. nothing to explore and no tunnel .. just something to look forward to :-)
