The Waldgaststätte Pfalzblick is a charming forest restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, a fireplace, and a magnificent panoramic terrace. It is located directly on the Palatinate Wine Trail and offers unparalleled views over the vineyards all the way to the Rhine plain and the Odenwald forest.

Attention ⚠️ only open from 11 a.m.! We were lucky at 10 a.m. when our tongues were laughing to the floor, nice staff has already poured us a cool drop. Gives a bonus in the rating 😉

Here you can eat delicious. Before you take care of your physical well-being, you can still enjoy the view in front of the restaurant. The view here is very nice. You can see quite far into the Rhine plain.

Beautiful view towards Deidesheim and the Rhine plain. The vantage point is right at the "Pfalzblick" refreshment stop. Here the physical well-being is taken care of.

Very easy to reach, coming directly from Deidesheim. The entrance to the car park is very narrow, and the car park there is usually overcrowded. However, the few 100m to the hut are worth it. Beautiful rustic interior, large outdoor area with playground and small stream. A paradise for children... Mein: Best sauerkraut!!!

There is only such a quaint rest area in the Palatinate Forest: with a shelter hut belonging to the Palatinate Forest Association (from 1913), several seating groups (with tables) and two old oaks; the third oak in the bunch apparently had to be felled. Several new oaks were planted for this. And everything is neatly fenced with wooden stakes.
