The Malberg is the site of a former Slavic fortification and probably served as a refuge and had a diameter of about 40 meters. It is a protected archaeological monument. A plaque provides information about the protective castle and a small hut offers the opportunity to rest.

A beautiful place! Mill located in the green Schnauderaue with a family-run café in the garden at weekends or inside the building with a well-preserved mill guest room. Outside a pretty old dancing linden tree and occasional live music.

Here you can stop for a rest. Exactly at the rest area the infrastructure is being developed. It has a very nice view of the Zwenkauer See. ☺️
