In 1993, the "Torfstich" opened as a small snack bar to provide hikers and day-trippers with small culinary specialties. After six years and increasing popularity, he expanded the snack bar into a restaurant with a guesthouse. Since 1999, guests have been able to spend their holidays with us near the Eibenstock dam. In 2009, the restaurant was expanded to include a small winter garden. For 0.50 euros entrance at the turnstile and after a few steps you get a wonderful view of the surrounding area from the Prince George Tower.
