A wonderful valley right next to the Leudelsbach stream for hiking. Very crowded today, Sunday.

A beautiful hike that's also engaging for children and is suitable for hot days. Rest areas and refreshment stops are available along the route. The Schellenberg restaurant is highly recommended. It also offers cakes.

If you walk west along the valley, it flows into the Löchgau Valley.

Wonderful, very natural path through a small sunken lane, with former brickwork and wooden stairs in the upper section. In summer the path is lined with nettles, so long trousers are a good idea. But the path has its charm at other times of the year too. Simply an almost magical place where you feel like you are in another world.

The closure from the sewage treatment plant has been lifted again. The tree felling work is finished.

The Wolfsschlucht Gorge is a reminder that wolves were once present in our region. The last wolf was sighted in Gerlingen in 1846. (Source: City of Gerlingen). The path into the relatively small gorge leads to the northern portal of the former Engelberg Tunnel, which has since been filled in. Only a few overgrown fortification walls remain. Instead, the renaturation has created a small green oasis on the Engelberg.

Really beautiful hiking valley between Markgröningen and the mouth of the Enz.
