The Treibsee lake is quietly hidden in the middle of the Welzheim Forest. It resembles a small, enchanted lake, almost mystical depending on the weather. Swathes of fog, mirror-smooth water, and the tranquility of the forest make this place the perfect spot for a short break. If you want to pause for a moment on your hike and enjoy nature to the fullest, this is the perfect location.

The hut isn't far, but it's located in the blazing sun. A bench in the shade with a view of the lake is just what you need.

We've compiled a video of the approximately 6.3km loop. Highlights include the Trögleshütte barbecue area, the Treibsee lake, and, of course, the "Große Platte" (Great Platte). Cool hut to take a break. 2 small ponds and a fun water pump turn it into an adventure park. For our dog, the small stream below the hut was ideal for cooling off.
