The Kirschgarten recreation area invites you to take a relaxing break. Around the small lake, you'll find a Kneipp facility with foot and arm baths, a playground, and a ping-pong table. The Kirschgarten grill, open seasonally, provides refreshments. Events such as summer festivals and stops on the Streutal beer garden tour are also regularly held here.

I was particularly taken with the duck family with the three young ones.

If you look up at the trees opposite the hiking trail, with a bit of luck you might spot cormorants. Today a grey heron joined them.

The cherry orchard is beautifully laid out and invites you to linger. Recommended.

The Irmelshausen bathing lake and campsite is located directly on the green belt and at the foot of the Gleichberge mountains. The area, which was created in the mid-1970s, was completely renovated in 2017/18. The supply area was sustainably upgraded through renovation and new construction measures, the sanitary facilities were completely renovated and are now barrier-free. The family-friendly bathing and fishing lake is surrounded by a spacious lawn.
