Burgwallbachersee. Great for swimming in the summer, with a kiosk and restaurant with a great cake buffet. Also good for a quick stop for a cool drink. Always happy to come back.

I can only recommend the cafe at Frickenhäuser See. Will be open again from April. There are, among other things, very good cakes.

This beautiful dragonfly pond is in the immediate vicinity of the wellness hotel in the Krummbachtal. Many benches invite you to linger and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Today at 34 degrees again on beautiful trails to Lake Burgwallbacher Seecafe. Admission now €3. Showers (cold) or warm available for a fee. Also changing rooms and toilets. The lake was quite brown today, probably due to last week's rains. It's always a cool down. The Seecafe lures with home-baked cakes because you should definitely make a stop. And if you only want to drink or snack at the kiosk, you don't pay admission either...🙂

A really nice place! It's not called a dragonfly pond for nothing! There you can admire dragonflies of all sizes and colors.

The Kirschgarten in Mellrichstadt is a beautiful beer garden, idyllically situated between trees by a small lake. Closed autumn/winter, reopens on May 1st, 2023. The offer includes small dishes and drinks. There is a lot of space here for leisure activities, for treading water, playground for children, table tennis table, relaxation bench. A very nice park to relax in.

Everything is closed in the evening, but swimming is possible at any time. Wonderfully refreshing. In the non-swimmer area, the floor was leveled and fixed, which I find very pleasant. No more squeaking on your feet...😃

Wonderful...for 2€ entry...changing rooms, showers and toilets available. Restaurant/coffee with delicious cakes. Beautiful sea terrace.

According to the sign "Swimming prohibited". But it is tolerated. Unfortunately, the kiosk only opens in the afternoon/evening. Probably missing staff 😔
