I was particularly taken with the duck family with the three young ones.

A beautiful and extremely valuable biotope for nature. It's a joy that something like this exists. I can only thank those who created it and those who maintain it!

At the fish ponds, many wooden benches invite you to take a rest and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature

If you look up at the trees opposite the hiking trail, with a bit of luck you might spot cormorants. Today a grey heron joined them.

Even from a distance, you will notice this piece of natural idyll, completely left to itself and a wetland biotope for water-loving animals. We can only hope that many of them have found a habitat here.

I can only recommend the cafe at Frickenhäuser See. Will be open again from April. There are, among other things, very good cakes.

The Eschbach Heustreu biotope, FFH area 12,000 square meters, is a private initiative to preserve and promote flora and fauna. Also serves for the recreation of citizens and is used for training purposes for children and adults. (gonature.de)
