A beautiful little lake with a restaurant for refreshments

Small bathing lake near Burgwallbach.

Burgwallbachersee. Great for swimming in the summer, with a kiosk and restaurant with a great cake buffet. Also good for a quick stop for a cool drink. Always happy to come back.

I can only recommend the cafe at Frickenhäuser See. Will be open again from April. There are, among other things, very good cakes.

As you can see, a feast for the eyes even in winter...😄

This beautiful dragonfly pond is in the immediate vicinity of the wellness hotel in the Krummbachtal. Many benches invite you to linger and enjoy the peace and quiet.

For me it is always fascinating to look into the Grater.

Today at 34 degrees again on beautiful trails to Lake Burgwallbacher Seecafe. Admission now €3. Showers (cold) or warm available for a fee. Also changing rooms and toilets. The lake was quite brown today, probably due to last week's rains. It's always a cool down. The Seecafe lures with home-baked cakes because you should definitely make a stop. And if you only want to drink or snack at the kiosk, you don't pay admission either...🙂
