The castle wall - Today's castle wall ring is approx. 470 m long and was built with Jura limestone and dolomite blocks largely reconstructed between 1986 and 1990. The original core dates back to the 13th century. The castle wall is evidence of medieval architecture and gives us a little insight into the once mighty castle fortifications. The former wall height is estimated at approx. 8 m.
