Coming from the forest path, immediately after the field cross, there is an old stone bridge on the left. This is where the moat begins. After the bridge, turn left along the path and after the water reservoir, turn left onto the path. This path leads to a path that runs completely along the ravine (ditch). Shortly before Kleinbrach, you come out onto the road to the Hausner sports field. This is also where the Grabenbach flows into the Franconian Saale. The depth of the ditch and the steep slopes are impressive for our area.

Whether coming from below or from above: the paths along the cascading brook offer plenty of biking fun (of course, taking walkers and hikers into consideration). The route along the Kaskadenbach is also part of the "Hochrhöner" long-distance hiking trail.

Small gorge at the edge of the forest

here is a small gorge which carries a lot of water when it rains and is fascinating to look at

Short but very impressive. Mayor Sandwall once coined the name "Grand Canyon von Bad Bocklet" - very appropriate, I think. The entrance to the well-hidden gorge can be reached via the Höllweg in the village of Aschach.

Below the mound of leaves there are deeply cut passages. A very interesting terrain, through which the Geologieweg themed hiking trail also leads. After heavy rainfall, hikers should take into account that this section can be very muddy.

Water always finds a way ...
