On the Schwanberg you can walk very well through the Friedwald or to the Birkensee where you can relax on the bench, see many sights and enjoy an excellent view in some places. A visit to the ⛪ and the café complete the tour. The golden deer and the Neptune fountain are also well worth seeing.

The Segnitzer Spitze up in the vineyards, don't worry, there are no records! It's not that sharp.

The Schwanberg (until the 19th century also Schwabenberg or Schwam(m)berg) is a 474 m above sea level. NHN high prominent elevation of the Steigerwald in the Bavarian administrative district of Lower Franconia. The mountain is known above all for its exposed location, the castle visible from afar with the associated park, the evangelical sisters' community Communität Casteller Ring (CCR) with its order church St. Michael and its order house, as well as the associated spiritual center Schwanberg, which today the Rödelsee district Schwanberg forms. The Schwanbergvorland (137.11) forms a sub-unit within the main unit Iphofen-Gerolzhofener Steigerwaldvorland (137.1). It is part of the Steigerwald foreland (137) and thus a natural area in the main unit group of the Main-Franconian Plates. In the north, the area is limited by the Dimbach drift sand area (137.02), which is part of the Kitzinger Main plain (137.0), which is closer to the Main. The entire west is already occupied by the Northern Steigerwald (115.0) with the sub-unit Schwanberg (115.00). The Hellmitzheim Bay (137.10) joins in the south. Other natural areas in the east are the Mainbernheimer Plain (137.00) and the Albertshofen drift sand area (137.01). The natural area extends in an approximately 2 to 5 km narrow strip in an arc around the eponymous Schwanberg, which marks the westernmost foothills of the Steigerwald. The exact extent is unclear due to the lack of cartographic recording of the area around Bamberg. The northernmost district is probably the Wiesentheide district of Feuerbach. The area includes the districts of Wiesenbronn, Rödelsee and the town of Iphofen. In the south, the area around Possenheim forms the conclusion. The railway line Fürth-Würzburg in the south cuts through the natural area.
