Touring bike or MTB highlight? From Frankenbach, the Upper Verstal can be easily reached by touring bike (the route is actually really nice and recommendable). But this is the only paved road (probably created to build the high-voltage line). Other access routes lead via forest paths, which are only partially suitable for touring bikes and then only in dry weather.

The Hasenküppel is an elevation above Marburg, near Richtsberg. Due to the many small hills there are many small valleys and gorges to discover. A visit is highly recommended. Not far from there is the Marburg Down Hill route for mountain bikers.
